After successful completion of an assessment and verification process Yara Animal Nutrition, South Africa has successfully achieved the GC-Mark (Global Conformance Mark and Certification) “Ethical Conformity “. This certification provides tangible proof of the company’s commitment to protecting human rights, ensuring fair work practices and safe working conditions for its employees. They have also achieved the AA1000 Independent Statement of Assurance as well as Global Certification of Compliance to Verified Hygiene Management.
Yara Animal Nutrition’s operations in South Africa include a raw materials processing plant and sales office in Umbogintwini near Durban, as well as distribution depots across Africa. Selling mineral feed supplements to feed producers and farmers across Africa with sales in Australia, New-Zealand, the Middle East and Argentina. Globally, Yara Animal Nutrition sells to over 70 countries and controls wholly-owned phosphate mining and production assets in Europe and the Americas.
Yara Animal Nutrition South Africa is ISO14001, ISO9001 and ISO45001 certified. They are also certified with Afri Compliance on GMP and Act36 and are an Approved Veterinary Establishment facility. Their Quality Laboratory facility is affiliated with AgriLasa.
