This past July, DQS was proud to participate in a blanket drive in honour of Mandela Day!
In cooperation with Bushveld Vametco Alloys, DQS South Africa took part in a successful blanket collection and distribution venture during Mandela Day 2019. The drive collected over 720 brand-new blankets to distribute to the community!
These blankets were handed out to an old age home in Rankotea, the Rusoord old age home and a nursery school in Brits. The blankets were well received and we hope that they served the community well during this past winter.
DQS would like to thank Bushveld Vametco for the wonderful initiative and we look forward to future collaborations!
Mandela Day, celebrated on the 18th of July each year, offers every South African the perfect opportunity to reach out and help their community or fellow man. We are proud to have played our part this year and hope to continue giving back to our community every Mandela Day.
