INTRODUCTION TO FOOD SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

This one-day course teaches you about the various clauses contained in ISO 22000:2005 standard and the benefits of having it implemented in your organization. Our experienced tutors will go through ISO 22000 in detail, assisting you to understand the importance of a Food Safety Management System in reducing food safety risks.

PRE-REQUISITE:

This is an introductory level of training to ISO 22000 and no prior knowledge of the ISO standard or management system is required. It is recommended that a minimum educational level of NQF level 4 (Matric) be attained to cope with the content

IMPLEMENTING A FOOD SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Implementing Food Safety Management System ISO 22000 is a two-day course which has been designed to provide participants with the knowledge and process steps to enable them to effectively implement a food safety management system in line with the requirements for ISO 22000:2005 certification.

The course introduces the concepts needed to describe, develop, and implement a food safety management system.

Anyone involved in defining, planning, or implementing an ISO 22000-based food safety management system

PRE-REQUISITE:

Previous attendance at an ISO 22000 Awareness or Introductory level course would be helpful. This course assumes the participant already has an introductory level of training in Food Safety Management and is engaged in the introduction of an FSM within their organisation. It is recommended that a minimum educational level of NQF level 4 (Matric) be attained to cope with the content.

OUTCOME:

With the successful completion of this course the participant will be able to:

  • Describe the basics of Food Safety Management Systems
  • Explain the purpose, structure and requirements of ISO 22000
  • Describe the process of implementing a FSMS that meets the requirements of ISO 22000

FOOD SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM INTERNAL AUDITOR COURSE

Understand the requirements of implementing ISO 22000:2005 within your organization and how to plan and perform effective internal audits on the system with our Food Safety Management Systems Lead Auditor training course.

This five-day course covers the entirety of the Food Safety Management Standard, teaching you about the standard, how to implement the standard and how to internally audit your system. Our experienced facilitators will explore the ISO 22000 standard in-depth, with role-plays, workshops and practical exercises to ensure you advance from beginner to expert.

PRE-REQUISITE:

It is recommended that delegates should have some prior knowledge of ISO 22000 food safety management system standard. However it is not mandatory, as this course is intended for those who are relatively new to ISO 22000 and management system auditing but who have some food safety background

OUTCOME:

With the successful completion of this course the participant will be able to:

  • Relate to and apply the ISO 19011:2011 requirements for auditing.
  • Develop specific documents required by the standard.
  • Develop auditing material required to conduct an internal audit.
  • Plan and prepare the auditing process.
  • Apply the principles of planning, executing, recording and closeout of an audited scenario.
  • Develop and implement key documentation to ensure the auditing process is concluded in a professional manner.
